Easter Mushroom House Pop-Up Card

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! I have another Easter card for you today. This card uses Karen Burniston's Tiny House Pop-Up and Mushroom Tiny House Add-On to create this super cute card.

For this card, I started with an A2 sized card base using a heavy weight smooth white cardstock. This is a 100 pack from Michaels card stock and I use it for card bases only. I found some pretty patterned paper that looked grass like with little flowers on it in my stash and used it for the background. I added some other patterned paper from my scrap drawer to the sides of the card and added a strip of yellow glitter card stock I got from Michaels.

I die cut the Tiny House Pop-Up house base from a cream coloured cardstock and added some Distress Ink in Antique Linen to the house to give it some dimension. Then I die cut the pieces for the Mushroom Tiny House Add-On using scrap cardstock I had on hand. I added white Gelly Pen to the mushroom roof to create the spots. I added the door, windows and flower boxes to my house. Then I added the roof.

I glued the house into my card, making sure to let the glue set before opening it to check that it worked well. I die cut the stepping stones from smooth white cardstock, adding double sided adhesive tape to the back so it was easy to add the little stones to the front of my house. I coloured them in using Copic markers. I die cut the grass strip and added that to the side of my house.

I used MFT - Spring Gnomes stamp set and added the flowers to the grass strip. I stamped the images with Pink Fresh Studios Detail Black Ink and coloured the images in with Copic markers.

I did the same with the little gnomes that I added to the card. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on to black cardstock, with VersaMark Ink and white embossing powder.

I used Karen Burniston's Oval - Crosshatch to add a place to sign the card.

For the front of the card, I added the same patterned paper as the inside of the card. Then I added two ovals, one from the floral patterned paper and one from smooth white cardstock.

I added more stamped images to the front and then added another sentiment from the Spring Gnomes stamp set.

I love how adorable that Mushroom house turned out. I think it was my first time using it too, which is hard to believe!

I have listed below all the supplies I used to make this card, but unfortunately, My Favorite Things does not allow anyone outside the USA to be part of their affiliate program, so their products aren't listed. They are available on their website if you are interested in the Spring Gnomes stamp set. Thank you so much for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!
