Christmas Birdhouse

Hello and welcome! Todays card is a beautiful birdhouse Christmas card, using the Spellbinders Build a Winter Birdhouse.

Let's start with the background for this card. To make it, I used distress oxide ink in tumbled glass, mermaid lagoon and faded jeans. Once the ink was dry, I used a snow fall stencil from My Favorite Things and Distress Texture paste in Matte.

The great thing about these dies is that they come with all the extra details as well, like the bell, the holly berries and the poinsettia flower, which gives your cards just that little bit extra.

I added the cardinal bird and tree branch from the Sweet Birds on a Branch die set that goes hand in hand with the birdhouse dies. Each die cut was colored to add texture and detail with Copic Markers.

The sentiment was from My Favorite Things - Bitty Holiday Wishes. I stamped it using Versa Mark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

What a great way to send Christmas wishes! Check out these amazing birdhouse dies for all seasons at Spellbinders

As always, thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!
