Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! It's been a while since I've posted and I am sorry about that. There has been quite a lot going on in my personal life that required my attention. But hopefully things are back on track and I can get back to posting all kinds of craftiness.
My card for you today features Karen Burniston's Little Twist Panel Pop-Up. I know I am super super early for a Fathers Day card, but I was going through my Karen Burniston's dies thinking what was something I hadn't used in a long time or at all. I got out my Little Twist Panel Pop-Up, Happy Fathers Day die and the Tool Charms (which believe it or not, I haven't used yet!).
For this card, I started with an A2 top fold card using a heavy weight black cardstock. I dug through my paper stack and found some great Fathers Day themed paper. I added this to the inside of the card, adding some trim pieces using paper from the same pack.
I die cut the pop-up mechanism from black cardstock and put it in the card. I like the line up the patterned paper to the pop up for this card and trim to fit. I will post a video at some point on how I do this. Then I die cut the rectangular pieces that fit to the twist panel.
I die cut the tools from the Tool Charms and colored some of the pieces using Copic markers. I also added Glossy Accents to the screwdriver handle to give it some dimension.
I added an area to sign the inside of the card and die cut the Happy Fathers Day sentiment from silver cardstock and added it to the top of the card.
For the outside of the card, I used the same patterned paper as the inside. I added two more tools to the front as well to carry on the theme.
