Window with a View Cards - Spellbinders Vista View Window

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! I have another set of window cards using Spellbinders Windows With a View Die bundle.

For these two cards, I used Spellbinders Vista View Windows, Backyard Haven View and The Botanical Solarium dies to create these two cards. I highly recommend this entire collection. The possibilities are endless!! I love how you can create a card looking outside or in and there are so many add-ons. It's such a fantastic bundle.

For my first card, I created an A2 sized card base using smooth white heavy weight cardstock. I added a brick background from a Recollections paper pack I recently purchased from my local Michaels.

I die cut the window from smooth white heavy weight cardstock and added acetate to the back.

I die cut the pieces I wanted to use from Spellbinders Backyard Haven View die set using heavy weight smooth white cardstock, then colored the pieces in with my Copic markers.

I die cut a background piece using the Vista View Windows die and colored in the sky and grass using Spellbinders Background Scapes stencil and Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean. Then I glued on my backyard pieces using Lineco Neutral pH glue in a fine tip bottle.

I die cut the window ledge from the same heavy weight cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers. I added foam tape to the back of the window and then placed that on top of the background piece.

Then I die cut the pitcher and flower from Spellbinders Botanical Solarium die set, again from heavy weight smooth white cardstock and again colored it in using my Copic markers.

I stamped the sentiment on to the window sill using Spellbinders Sending Sunshine Sentiments and Lawn Fawn's Jet Black Ink.

For my second card, I went with an A2 sized card base using a dark blue cardstock.

I die cut a rectangle from smooth white cardstock using my MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX die in the largest size. Then I created a brick background using MFT - Small Brick Wall Stencil and Simon Says Stamps Positively Saturated Ink in Earl.

I die cut the window frame from heavy weight smooth white cardstock and colored it in using Copic markers. I added acetate to the back of this window as well.

For the background in the window, I added Distress Oxide Ink to the cut out using Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire. Then I added some lace ribbon I had to make curtains.

I added foam tape to the back of the window and added it to the window background.

I die cut the window box from a gray cardstock and a shiny black cardstock, the glued them together. I added this to the front of the window.

I die cut the potted plants from the Botanical Solarium die set, using heavy weight smooth white cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers. I added Glossy Accents to some parts of the pots to add some extra dimension. I also die cut another pitcher and a different flower for this card. I die cut the little butterfly and colored that with Copic markers as well.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment using the Sending Sunshine Sentiments with VersaMark Ink and white embossing powder on black cardstock.

I can't say enough good things about this set! I can't wait to make more cards with this set, that's for sure!!
