Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! I'm back with another Weekly Blind Challenge and this week I picked two dies that couldn't be more perfect for each other!! The Tiny Trees Pop-Up and the Backyard Charms!!
If you're new here, every week I do a "blind challenge" where I close my eyes and pick a pop-up die along with a charms/animal or character die then make a card with those dies! I add more dies if I want to as well! It's just a little something to get my creative brain working. Lol!
For this card, I started with an A2 sized card base using Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock. Then I added some pretty patterned paper from Echo Park called I Love Family.
I die cut my tree trunks and the pop-up tabs using Lawn Fawn's Ground Coffee cardstock. Then I used My Favorite Things - Limelight cardstock for the trees adding Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn around the edges to give it some dimension.
I used the hammock from Karen Burniston's Palm Tree Pop-Up to add to my relaxing backyard scene.I added some of the charms from the Backyard Charms to the bottom of the card, cutting these from heavy weight smooth white cardstock and coloring them in with Copic markers.
Then I used Karen Burniston's Happy Birthday die to create a sentiment at the top of the card. I added Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean to give it a variegated look.
I added the little birds that come with the Tiny Trees Pop-Up and the Butterfly from the Backyard Charms to the top.
I added a place to sign the card, using Karen Burniston's Rectangles and Labels Crosshatch die set.
Then I stamped the birthday sentiment using her Birthday/Belated new stamp set.
I added more trees and flowers as well as another butterfly to the front.
I used her Oval - Crosshatch die to create the white oval in the front.
This is such a great card that could be used for anyones birthday!
