Christmas Light Up Piano Pop-Up Card!

 Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! My card for you today uses several of Karen Burniston's dies to create this Christmas themed card. 

I started with an A2 sized card base using Lawn Fawn's Algae cardstock. I cut three pieces of Christmas patterned paper from Echo Park called Gnome for Christmas and added it to the front and inner panels of my card. 

I found a great picture of an old fashioned music sheet of Silent Night on Etsy and purchased it. I shrunk it down to fit the front of my card, printing it on heavy weight cream colored cardstock. I added Distress Ink in Vintage Photo to the edges and then used a distress tool to make the edges rough. 

I die cut four poinsettias, using Karen Burniston's Poinsettia die set from Lawn Fawn Tomato cardstock then added Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Red Royal to the edges of the petals. I die cut the leaves from Algae cardstock and added Distress Oxide Ink in Mowed Lawn to the edges of the leaves. 

I die cut the berries and branch/leaves from Lawn Fawn's Tomato and Noble Fir cardstock. Then I added some Copic marker to the leaves to add some dimension. I added glossy accents to the berries and once dry, gave them gloss lines with a white Gelly Pen. 

I die cut the street lamp from Karen Burniston's Street Lantern Pop-Up using a shiny black cardstock. I added the wreath and bow to the lamp post. 

I added a yellow light for the lamp post using Chibi Lights. Then stamped the sentiment on to a piece of white cardstock to add to the front and hide the battery for the light up part of the card.

I trimmed down the poinsettia to fit the snow border for the bottom of the card, then glued the foliage to it, along with the music sheet and lamp post. 

I glued everything down using Lineco Neutral pH adhesive in a fine tip bottle. 

For the inside of the card, I die cut the piano keys from Karen Burniston's Piano Keys Pop-Up. I used a heavy weight white and black smooth cardstock for this piano keys. 

I added a snow background to the inside of my card, then glued the piano keys to that. 

I die cut two snowmen using Karen Burniston's Snowman die set and made them look like they were singing. I added song books using the book from Karen Burniston's Bookworm die set. 

I added two more poinsettias to the inside of my card, trimming them like I did before so they fit in to the corners of my card. 

I added a place to sign the card, using a label from the Little Twist Panel Pop-Up and smooth white heavy weight cardstock. 

I then trimmed a piece of green Algae cardstock down and created a banner. I stamped the "fa la la la" sentiment on to it using Karen Burniston's Season of Cheer stamp set, VersaMark Ink and white embossing powder. 

Lastly, I added some music notes, which come with the Piano Keys Pop-Up using the same shiny black cardstock as the lamp post.
