Hello and Welcome. Today's card features Karen Burniston's Gift Pivot Panels and Twist Panel Pop-Up. This was my first time using the Gift Pivot Panels die set and it was also my first time adding a Pivot Panel die to the Twist Panel Pop-Up. I really like how the card turned out and I think that this will be a technique I use again and again.
For this card, I made an A2 sized card base. I added some patterned paper for the background, then created a border using Karen Burniston's Border Blends - Party dies and a different patterned paper.I die cut the white scalloped panels for the twist panel pop-up from smooth white cardstock. Then I die cut the Gifts from various scrap patterned papers I had on hand. I added glitter ribbons and bows to the gifts.
I used Karen Burniston's Celebrate die to make the "Celebrate" sentiment on the top panel, cutting it once from dark blue glitter cardstock and once from black cardstock.
I used Karen Burniston's Rectangles - Crosshatch dies to make the signature area at the bottom of the card.
I tried to keep things simple since this pop up has so much going on with the mechanism not only twisting to open but then the gift pivot panel opening.
I added the "Happy Birthday to You" sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps Bitty Buzzwords.
When I decided to make this card, I thought it would be waaay more complicated, but it was really super easy to make!
Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
