Karen Burniston February 2024 New Release - Sneak Peek Week Day 3: Tiny Accessories 4

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome to Day 3 of our Karen Burniston February 2024 New Release Sneak Peek Week. This new release has 12 new dies in it and will be available for purchase on February 19th.

My card for you today features the new Tiny Accessories 4 and the Beach Elements.

This card was super fun to create! For this card I started with an A2 sized, top fold card using smooth white cardstock.

I die cut a rectangle from smooth white cardstock, then created water using Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire. Then with my spray bottle, I misted water and dabbed it off, to create an ocean water look. I then added some white tips to the waves using Copic opaque white paint.

I used the wave die from the Tropical Scene die set and cut a piece for the background of the card. I also used the die from Nature Edges to create the beach area. I die cut this from smooth white cardstock and then added Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Antique Linen to create the beach look.

I die cut two palm trees using the Palm Tree Pop-Up and the Beach Bar Tiny House Add-On. I colored the palm leaves using Copic markers. I added the beach umbrella using the new Beach Elements die set. I also added a beach ball using the Beach Charms die set. I colored the beach ball with Copic markers and added Glossy Accents to create a shiny surface.

I added pop up waves on the bottom of the card using the Small Scenes Bam Box Pop-Up. I die cut the Chicken from the the Chicken, Pig and Lamb die set and added the snorkel and goggles from the new Tiny Accessories 4.

For the front of the card, I created another water and beach scene, then added another chicken but this time, a added the chicken to the flamingo floatie that is part of the new Tiny Accessories 4.

I added some more palm trees and a tiny crab to my beach area.

Then I created the sentiment on the front using Word Set 2: Birthday die set and the Mini Alphabet die set.

I am so happy with how this card turned out. It's so cute and will be a great birthday card for anyone.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, be sure to check out the other cards created by our fantastic Design Team. Also, be sure to come by on our Blog Hop day for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Karen Burniston's website.
