Get Well Soon Card using Spellbinders Umbrella Bloom

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! My card today uses Spellbinders beautiful die set called Umbrella Bloom. This gorgeous die set includes everything you need to create an umbrella filled with flowers! This die set pairs well with their sentiment stamp set called I've Got You Covered.

How gorgeous are those flowers? For this card, I started with an A2 sized cardbase using a pale blue cardstock. I die cut a rectangle of heavy weight smooth white cardstock using MFT - A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX dies in the largest size. Then using my Glimmer Hot Foil machine and Spellbinders Glimmer - Essential Duo Lines Rectangles, I added a metalic blue border around the card background.

I die cut the umbrella using a bright yellow and pale yellow cardstock. I also added white cardstock for the stripes on the umbrella.

I die cut the flowers from Neenah Classic Crest 110lb heavy weight cardstock and colored them in using Copic markers, as shown below in the video. Once I had all the flowers colored, I began to put them together inside the umbrella. I glued everything together, then glued the entire piece to my card background.

I stamped my Hello sentiment to the top of the card, using Lawn Fawn's Jet Black ink. Then I stamped the other sentiment onto black cardstock using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder.

Lastly, I added some clear "bling" to my card. This card turned out so bright and cheerful. The perfect pick me up for someone who isn't feeling well. Thank you so much for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!
