Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! It's Designer Challenge time and our theme for September 2024 is Four Seasons! For this card, I used the Waterfall Card die set along with the Trees Add-On to create this seasonal card!
I started with an A2 sized card base using Lawn Fawn Kraft Cardstock. I added some pretty patterned paper I had from Echo Park called New Day to the front and inside of the card. I used the half circle die to cut a notch in the side of the card to make it easier to pull the mechanism. Then I die cut the pull tab and base from dark blue cardstock.
I found four different colors of cardstock that matched with my patterned paper and used them for the flaps on the Waterfall card. For the sentiments in this card, I used the new Seasons Sentiments stamp that came out in the last release!
For the first flap, I chose yellow cardstock to represent spring. I added the bee from the Flutter Charms and the flowers from the Twist Flower Pop-Up. On the back of the first flap, I added a spring themed tree with little pink and white blossoms on it.
For the second flap, I used Apricot Cardstock from Lawn Fawn to represent summer! Then I added flowers and the butterfly from the Fun Flowers die set. On the back of the second flap, I added a summer themed tree with a bird and hearts.
For the third flap, I chose a dark peach colored cardstock. I'm sorry, I can't remember what this one is called. I added some flowers from the Fun Flowers and from the Flower Pot Pop-Up. I also added the pumpkin from the Halloween Elements. On the back of the third flap, I added a fall tree with falling leaves which I die cut from the Tiny Trees Pop-Up.
For my last flap, I added a plain tree and die cut glitter snowflakes! I just love how this card came out. It is a little bulky, and if you were to make it for yourself and mail it, it would probably require more postage. But those little trees from the Tree Add-On fit perfectly!!! Thank you so much for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!
