Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! It's Designer Challenge time and our theme for February is Bouquet! I made so many bouquet cards for our new release that I thought I would make a very simple but pretty card, with just greenery.
For this card, I made a 5x7 card base from heavy weight smooth white cardstock. I added some pretty patterned paper I just got from Echo Park called Special Delivery: Baby. I know it's baby paper but the colors were perfect for the card I was making.
I die cut the Flower Pot Pop-Up from a light weight kraft cardstock. I then added some Distress Ink in Vintage Photo to give the pot a rustic look. I added a burlap and lace ribbon around the pot. Then I added all the greenery. I used the leave from the Flower Pot Pop-Up, Flower Pot Add-Ons and Fun Flowers in three different shades of green cardstock.
I added the flower pot to the white doily I die cut from the Flower Pot Add-Ons, which I had glued into my card once I had my patterned paper down.
I die cut a label using the Raising Platform Pop-Up die set and stamped it with a sympathy sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Moments of Grace stamp set. I also added a little card to my pot using the new Bouquet Bits die set and the Bouquet Sayings stamp set.
I carried the theme to the front of my card as well, creating another little flower pot with greenery in it.Supplies: For your shopping convenience, all products are linked below. ReplyDeleteLove the pot of greenery. I never would of guessed that was baby paper. I've been stamping since the mid 90's and still have so much to learn.
