Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! My card for you today was made for my Sister in Laws Birthday. For this card, I used Karen Burniston's Twist Panel Pop-Up and Sassy Club Stamps Horror Squad and Good Guys stamp sets.
For this card, I started with an A2 top fold card using red cardstock. Then I added some black and white striped patterned paper. Before I adhered it to my card, I folded it in half and used my bone folder to give it a good crisp fold. Then I used the pop-up die mechanism to die cut the arms that lift the twist panel. I then adhered the background to my card base.
I die cut the Twist Panel from smooth white cardstock. I stamped my images on to the panels using Detail Black ink then stamped them on to masking paper. I also stamped the dripping blood using Sassy Club Slyme Time stamp set. I fussy cut out the images from the masking paper and then applied the mask to each image. I created the background using Distress Oxide Ink in Pumice Stone, Black Soot, Rusty Hinge and a little bit of Candied Apple. I added some black soot to my Tonic glass work top and some water and then splatter the background with the black. I let it dry, then removed the masking paper. I coloured the images in with Copic markers. I added white shine lines to the blood using a size 10 white Gelly Pen. I also added Glossy Accents to the Horror guys eyes and to the balloon. Once dry, I added shine lines with my Gelly Pen.
I drew the dripping blood for the top of the card from smooth white cardstock, then cut it out with my craft scissors. I then coloured it in with my Copic markers. I used Karen Burniston's Mini Alphabet to add "Killer" and her Birthday/Belated stamp set to add the birthday sentiment underneath.
I added some black cardstock to the bottom, then added a label from the Greetings Labels die set for a place to sign the card.
For the front of the card, I used the Rectangles - Crosshatch die to add some rectangles. Then for the smallest rectangle, I created a similar background as the inside. I added another horror movie character, colouring him in with Copic markers.
I found a few sentiment stamp sets from MFT and used them to create my sentiment on the front.
My SIL really thought this card was neat. I loved it!! Thank you so much for stopping by today. Below is a list of the supplies I used to make this card. You can find the stamp sets from Sassy Club Stamps by using the link to their website here. Happy Crafting!
