Sweet Christmas Gingerbread Wishes!

Hello Crafty Friends and Welcome! My card for you today features Karen Burniston's Label Charm Pop-Up. I like to go through my dies and see which ones I haven't used in a while and so I decided to use the Label Charm Pop-Up. Also, I wanted to make a Christmas card so, I dug out my Winter Charms and Christmas Borders die sets and got to work creating a sweet pop-up card!

I recently purchased a cute Christmas paper pack from Doodlebug Designs and I just loved the gingerbread men on the paper. It made me think of the Baking Charms so I decided on a gingerbread themed card.

I started with an A2 sized side fold card base using a red cardstock. I added the patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs to the inside and front of the card. I also used the other side of the patterned paper to create the borders on the inside of the card.

I die cut out the pieces I needed from the Label Charms Pop-Up die set and set them aside. I die cut the front panel pop-up and using Karen Burniston's Rectangles and Labels - Crosshatch, I created borders for the front of the card and the inside using a glossy red cardstock.

I then started die cutting the pieces from the Baking Charms die set and the gingerbread from the Winter Charms. I also used the candy from the Christmas Borders and the Candy Canes from Christmas Borders 2 and used them for decorations.

I colored all my die cuts using Copic markers and then started putting everything together.

I wanted to create a dangling gingerbread man in the middle pop-up. I used bakers twine to tie the gingerbread man in place. I also used the little dies in the Gingerbread House Tiny House Add-On to create the little jujubes on the front and inside of the card. I added glitter gel to these to make them look sugary.

I added Nuvo Crystal drops to the gingerbread men in glossy white, to look like icing on their arms and legs.

Lastly, I added the "have a very sweet holiday" sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Merry Messages stamp set. I stamped it on black cardstock using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder.

I love the baking charms and I think they just pair so well with this card!! Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
