Four Cards using Spellbinders Stitched Card Front, Border and Flower Die

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! I have four cards for you today, all using Spellbinders Stitched Card Front, Border and Flower Die set. This is a die set I got when I joined the Large Die of the Month Club through Spellbinders. This unique die set comes with everything you need to create gorgeous embroidered card fronts!

For my first card, I started with an A2 sized card base using Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. I die cut the stitched front using the same cardstock, running it through my die cut machine a few times to make sure that all my hole cut perfectly.

I then stitched all the flowers using embroidery thread I picked up from my local Michaels stores. For this first card, I went with different colors of pink. I also used a light and dark green and yellow. I used three strands of embroidery thread for this card.

I used my Glimmer Hot Foil machine and Spellbinders Elegant Occasion Sentiments to create a gold foiled sentiment on the front of my card.

For the background of this card, I used a sparkly white cardstock. I also added Spellbinders Fashion Gold Embellishments to the front.

For my next card, I used a dark blue cardstock for the card base. This is also an A2 sized card base. I die cut a background piece using a glitter blue cardstock and die cut borders on the top and bottom using the borders die that comes with the Stitched Card Front, Border and Flower die set.

I die cut another bordered piece for the front of the card using the borders die, but I also used the straight flower border die in the set to create two flower borders for the front of the card. For these, I used a light blue, dark blue, light yellow and dark yellow embroidery thread (4 strands this time) for the flowers.

I used Spellbinders Sweet & Snarky Birthday Wishes Glimmer plate/die and gold foil to create the sentiment on the front. I also added some of Spellbinders Fashion Gold Embellishments to this card.

My next card is also an A2 sized card base using a dark purple cardstock. I used the same card front as my first card, again using 110lb cardstock. This time I used various colors of embroidery thread (3 strands) but with this card, I stitched around the edges of the flowers, leaves and flower centres.

I used Spellbinders Glimmer - Let Your Sentiments Shine hot foil plate and silver foil to create the sentiment in the centre of the card.

I added some embellishments from Trinity Stamps called Moonlight Confetti.

My last card is an A2 sized card using 110lb smooth white cardstock card base I die cut another rectangle using MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX dies in the largest size.

I used an old Cuttlebug embossing folder and embossed this background piece. Then I went around the edges using Distress Oxide Ink in Candied Apple.

I added the single flowers and leaves from Spellbinders Stitched Card Front, Border and Flower die set, this time using red embroidery thread.

I added the sentiment on the front using Spellbinders Glimmer Elegant Occasion Sentiments and gold hot foil. I used a heavy weight smooth white cardstock for this.

Lastly, I added some the Fashion Gold Embellishments to the front.

How great is it to get four cards from one die set!! This was a time consuming process but well worth it. So put your feet up, put a movie on and spend an afternoon embroidering cards! I highly recommend this die set. Below you will find my how to YouTube video on exactly how I made all four cards. Be sure to subscribe, I update every other Tuesday and Thursday! Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!
