Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! I have three beautiful Christmas cards for you today which use Karen Burniston's new Postage Pop Die set!
For my first card, I started with an A2 sized side fold card using Lawn Fawn's Tomato red cardstock. I then added some pretty patterned paper from Echo Park called Baking Spirits Bright.
I die cut the Postage Pop-Up mechanism from the same red cardstock as the card base. I then added the mechanism to the card. Please see below for my YouTube video on how to add this mechanism or you can watch Karen Burniston's assembly video on YouTube as well!
I created a window card for the front of this card, adding a red frame around and acetate in between. I used Karen Burniston's Baking Charms along with Lawn Fawn's A Creature was Stirring stamp set to create this fun baking card.
I also used Karen Burniston's new Sweet Treats sentiment stamp set and her new Season of Cheer sentiment stamp set for this card. This is an A2 sized card base using a heavy weight smooth white cardstock. I used a pretty winter sweater patterned paper from Echo Park called Snowed In.
For this card, I used the Snow Charms, die cutting them from the same smooth white cardstock as the front of the card, then coloring them with Copic markers.
I used Karen Burniston's new Winter Hugs sentiment stamp set for this card.
I also added a pretty folded banner from MFT called Elegant Folded Banner. Then I stamped the "Let it Snow" sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Winter Wavy Sayings.
I added some coffee mugs from Karen Burniston's Tea and Coffee Border dies. Decorating them with snowflakes on the front of the mugs.
I also added a "checklist" which came from the same Echo Park paper pack called "Snowed In". I thought that this worked perfectly with my wintery card.
My last card, uses the Postage Pop-Up as a postage card. This time I created the Postage Pop-Up to look like Christmas stamps.
For this card, I used another A2 sized side fold card base using the same Lawn Fawn Tomato cardstock. Then I added this fun Christmas paper from Photo Play called Santa Paws.
I added the pop up mechanism to the card using the same red cardstock. Then I die cut the Postage Pop-Up from smooth white cardstock three times. I also die cut it from red cardstock as well.
I used masking paper and Mama Elephants Little Agenda Train and Little Elf Agenda stamp sets to create my stamps. I also used Waffle Flower's Postage Collage stamps to add the postage amount to my stamps.
For the front of the card, I created a Postcard front. I used more Waffle Flower stamps as well as the Postage Collage stencil.
What an adorable card! I love all the ‘winter’ in the stamps! No snow here yet but cold for Georgia!
