Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! Today I am going to show how you can use Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for October called Cozy Toes Slippers three different ways.
For my first card, I used the die set as it was intended, by created two legs with super cute slippers on. This die set creates reindeer, Santa, penguin, bunny or monster slippers! For my card, I chose the reindeer slippers. I used scrap cardstock to create the jammy pants, then added some peach colored cardstock for the legs. I created green slippers and added the reindeer faces to each one. Then I added the sentiment strip (which comes with the die set) to the front of the card.
For my second card, I used the penguin faces, but without the slippers. I created a wintery background using Spellbinders Christmas Sweater Background for the Glimmer Machine. Unfortunately, they no longer sell this background plate. I added some holographic foil and pressed it on to blue cardstock.
I die cut a circle using MFT - Inside and Out Stitched Circle STAX from white cardstock. Then added my penguins to the front of the card. I die cut a banner using Lawn Fawn's Simple Wavy Banners and stamped a sentiment on to it using Lawn Fawn's Winter Wavy Sayings, VersaMark Ink and white embossing powder. Then glued it onto my card front.
Lastly, I created a Christmas tag with the Santa face! I used MFT - Tag Builder Blueprints 6 from red, green and white cardstock. I added the Santa face and then some green ribbon. I used a white Gelly Pen to create a striped patterned around the tag.
