Who You Gonna Call? Ghostbusters Themed Card using Sassy Club Stamps!

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome. My card for you today features stamps from Sassy Club Stamps called Ghost-Hunters, Stay-Puft and Slyme-Time.

I started with an A2 sized card base using heavy weight black card stock. I then created two background rectangles using smooth white card stock. For the bottom scene, I used the Stay-Puft stamp set along with Spellbinders Background Scapes stencil. I then added Gina K masking paper to the stamped images. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Black Soot, Pumice Stone to create the city and pavement background. Then using MFT - Clouds stencil and Distress Oxide Ink in Wilted Violet, I created the clouds. I then removed the masking paper and colored the firehall and marshmallow man in with Copic markers.

For the upper panel, I stamped the Slimer image where I wanted him and added Gina K masking paper over him. I also stamped three slimes to the top of the card using the Slyme-Time stamp set. I put masking paper over these as well. Then I continued the cloud background I started in the bottom panel. I removed the masking paper and colored everything in with Copic markers.

I used Karen Burniston's Twist Panel Pop-Up for this card. I stamped the four Ghostbusters onto each panel and masked them with Gina K masking paper. I then added more slime. I masked these as well. I used MFT - Small Brick Wall stencil and Simon Says Stamps Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Cherry to create the brick wall background. I used Distress Oxide Ink in Pumice Stone for the pavement.

Once the background was dry, I removed the masking paper and colored everything using Copic markers. I then added Glossy Accents to all the slime on the inside of the card. I set this aside to dry.

For the front of my card, I used the polaroid frames from Karen Burniston's Photo Collage Pop-Up to create pictures of the Ghostbusters. I colored them in with Copic markers.

I then stamped the Ghostbusters symbol on to smooth white card stock and colored it in with Copic markers. I fussy cut it out and added it to the centre of my card.

I stamped a sentiment from the Ghost-hunters stamp set that says "who you gonna call".

I then put the entire card together, following Karen Burniston's fantastic assembly video on YouTube for the Twist Panel Pop-Up. I stamped some birthday sentiments inside the card using Karen Burniston's Birthday/Belated clear stamp set.

How cool is this card?! I just love Sassy Club Stamps and am already on their website looking for my next set of stamps! Be sure to check them out!
