Envelope of Wonder Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends and welcome! My card for you today is a beautiful birthday card using Spellbinders Envelope of Wonder die set.

I started by creating the card base. I cut a piece of cardstock 10"x7" and scored it in the middle at 5". Then I used the envelope base die to create a card, by keeping the edge of the envelope just outside the spine of folded cardstock.

I then die cut the envelope from a gingham patterned paper. I die cut the flaps and edge of the envelope using a pretty pink floral patterned paper.

I began die cutting all the flowers from scraps of coloured cardstock that I had in my stash. I used Copic markers to add some detail to the flowers. Once I had them all ready, I began gluing them down where I wanted them to go. I took my time doing this because I wanted it to look just right.

I then used my Glimmer Hot foil machine to add a sentiment to the bottom. I used Karen Burniston's Greeting Labels to die cut the banner once I had the foiled sentiment. I glued this to the bottom of the card. Then I die cut the envelope again from the Gingham patterned paper to add to the inside of the card.

This is such a great die set. There is also add-on dies for fall, halloween and Christmas! Thank you so much for stopping by today. Below is a list of the supplies I used to make this card. Happy Crafting!
